Well, it’s finally been chosen. Here’s the brief rundown on the next Bombshell Studios production. Pre-production goes into full gear at the beginning of November with an anticipated shooting date of late January.
A private eye is in for the night of his life. All he wants is a good night’s sleep. Here’s hoping he survives the experience. This twenty minute short film is a dark comedy with a dash of classic film noir.
We will be looking for a director of photography and a sound mixer (both are paid positions.)
Casting will begin in November.
Shooting will be over three weekends with one all night shoot. Crew most be available for all six shooting days and cast requirements will be dictated by the specific role.

Walk to Damascus has been delayed until next year. Realizing that some of the technical and visual effects were going to be a bit tough, it was decided to take a smaller step with the next short and move Damascus until Summer of ‘09.
That said, the good news is that a script that has been languishing for about six years has been dusted off and polished and is now going into pre-production for a Nov/Dec shoot. It’s much simpler logisitically and this will allow us greater freedom. The working title was Goodman’s Night but it’s guaranteed that the title will remain once a better title is created.
A little bit about the film is that it is a dark comedy in the vein of something like Nurse Betty and has an added touch of noir. More details will be posted in the future but we will be looking for a number of featured roles for the film as well as a professional sound mixer.
